I seriously doubt it as well. Chances AI destroys humanity within the next 3 years and 3 months should be close to zero. The conclusion, though! Why would we do that if it destroys us for example by 2034?!??

While I do see AI usage as a danger, I don’t see an AI gaining super intelligence within 3 years and killing everyone. The pollution from the data centers is the bigger threat as is the cognitive decline of the users.

That’s a crack in the AI-bros alliance. On one side, AI companies running out of cash for their expansion race and looking for excuses to pause everything but more importantly everyone else with them. On the other side, the only corp that actually sells something, invested shitload of money in the AI hype and needs making profit on hardware at an insane rates to recoup his investments otherwise he’s toast.
