Susan Collins Is Corrupt. She Still Might Be Reelected. Susan Collins should never be underestimated. But Collins’s undeniable gift for pork-barrel spending could now come back to haunt her, thanks to a new pay-fo...

James Talarico’s campaign could do lasting damage to the GOP All politics are identity politics. Republicans have long mocked this notion, treating the very concept of “identity politics” as a left-wing fixation. In reality, the GOP’s success is entirely due to the cheapest form of identity politics: For decades, but especially now, they have worked to distract voters from the party’s ruinous policies with appeals to their identity as white, provincial and, most importantly, Christian. This cam...

Trump posts map renaming New Mexico to 'New America' President Donald Trump — whose approval ratings continue lagging — posted a social media image suggesting renaming the state of New Mexico as “New America.” U.S. Rep. Medicare for All Is Making a Comeback The situation is dire. Millions of people in the United States are months away from losing their health care. HP is a garbage company. My laptops typically last until the hardware is well past obsolete, but not HP's crap. My HP X360 laptop's motherboard failed completely and the hinges just fell apart for the 2nd time. This POS didn't last for 3 years of occasional use. Never again.

Running Mint for apps like Jellyfin and Icecast that aren't critical, and Debian for apps like Frigate that are. Mint is easier to manage and more convenient, but Debian is amazingly reliable. Docker is used for everything. Consider adding Wireguard or similar for anywhere access. I have Tasker automatically connect whenever I'm not on home wifi so everything is always available without having detectable open router ports.

My brother's a textbook malignant narcissist who will literally lecture everyone around him about how great he is. He pulls shitty, manipulative BS, lies about his behavior with a straight face and then does it again the next day. My brother is what he is and there's nothing he could ever say or do that would convince me otherwise.
