Texas Abortion-Ban Author Admits Affair, Denies Claim He Funded Abortions
State Rep. Giovanni Capriglione acknowledged having an affair years ago but rejected Alex Grace’s claim that he secretly funded abortions.
The Texas Republican, who was the primary author of the state’s Human Life Protection Act, made the admission after Grace, a woman who says she had a 17-year relationship with him, accused him of quietly paying for abortions.
Capriglione, a Southlake Republican, said he had ‘selfishly’ had an affair ‘years ago’ but denied the more serious allegation that he funded abortions.
The allegations came from Grace, a former exotic dancer, three days after Capriglione announced he would not seek re-election. He has since threatened legal action over what he described as defamatory claims.

He knows a guy who does it for free, so he didn’t pay for it.
