  Did you know kicad allows slop? (https://dev-docs.kicad.org/en/rules-guidelines/tool-generated-content/index.html) And judging by the recent commit history they're leaning into it pretty hard, that's a lot of slop-commits.. (https://slopscan.ava.pet/repo/https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FKiCad%2Fkicad-source-mirror) Apparently the only other such tool that is FOSS is called Fritzing that doesn't have any slop yet actually! Also no policy either way so just a matter of time.. :neocat_floof...

  RE: https://androiddev.social/@danlew/117326054669955954 It's kinda "funny" that for years now this has been more or less the norm in tech; the more you know about it the less you want it around you (not including homemade stuff, necessarily), and it's just been.. normal. Now imagine if, say, flight engineers never set foot on airplanes if they could avoid it. Would that have been "normal" or really fucking worrying?? We have been slow boiled..

  Well. I've managed to remove all subfolders to the inbox on my work mail while moving all the messages to the inbox itself. That probably took.. 6-8h.. :neocat_laugh_tears:​ Also.   Huh, today my computer no longer use the external screen on boot.. which makes it tricky to know when to type in the encryption key, especially the second time :neocat_laugh_tears: Also, I apparently managed to screw up the sound on this install, somehow. An absolute classic! Almost sad that the WiFi works without issues! Also, starting to regret my computer-fiddly-impulse the other day.. :neocat_laugh_tears:

  Huh.. so bat is a replacement for cat and eza replaces ls (at least on Linux systems), they're quite pleasant alternatives I've been using for over a year now I believe buuuut.. they are over 50M download each, the build dirs go above 1G and the final installs are less than 10M.. Fucking rust..

  Got out of bed fairly quickly today (normally I spend an hour or two just sort of lying there) and was hoping for a quiet breakfast before the construction right outside my window started, but no luck.. They, apparently, start at 7.. :( Also, on day one of their work the cut down the last tree outside my windows.. So now I have the garbage disposal hut thingy and a construction site, soon to be pavement. Because we apparently can't have nice things.. :neocat_floof_sad:​

  Almost exactly 3 months since I got these shoes and I'm still getting blisters/pain (in the same two places on each foot) any time I walk longer than 2km (which is pretty regular), no calluses or anything in sight. My feet are still soft and smooth as a baby's bottom.. Similarly with my fretting fingers, no trace of calluses at all, and I'm close to 3 months of regular practice there too. I'm chalking both of these up as more potential symptoms of #eds 🤷🏻‍♀️

  One of my biggest pet peeves is when people refer to Sweden/Nordics/Scandinavia/etcetc as socialist.. We are not and have never been socialist!! Don't know about our neighbours but Sweden embraced neoliberalism back in '85 like all the kids were doing in the 80s! (Led by the socdems btw) (I would be surprised if our neighbours didn't also do that then) Socdem is just liberalism with taxes and welfare sprinkles..
