We did everything except the Companion quests (maybe a tiny bit of the early parts because we were already in the relevant places). Because it took so long to find time to play... the plot kinda got lost in the weeds. I wish we had skipped most side quests & done the campanions instead - but we were already modding it for 5 players & companions were saved for everyone to do solo. But who wants more at this poi...

  It's absolute nonsense & abelist to-boot when #GameDev folks decide handicapping the in-game map adds realism. In real life I can walk up to a person & ask "Hey I heard a farmer around here is getting hassled by goblins?" and they will either point the way to it, or to someone who knows. Maps too are SUPER easy to get, even pre-GPS era. Also our minds are better at mentally mapping a region we are living in vs seeing on a screen. https://www.ign.com/articles/warlock-dun...

  We have a family #karate belt test this weekend. 😬🥋 Trying to wrangle 3 boys ages 10 - 14 to *focus* on drills to practice for like 20 minutes is high-key a parenting nightmare. I've got one kid asking questions, another kid sitting down on the couch, another kid proposing a different type of drill, another kid getting frustrated, another kid starting to read a book... Meanwhile I don't have that plastic preteen mind anymore so the memorization takes me a good bit longer.

  Can't remember if I ever beat this as a kid, but listening to the #DosGames Club podcast inspired me to whip out the #DosBox again and explore some of my old favs. Monuments Of Mars (1991) was such a unique game in my childhood collection with its orange and green colour scheme and it's one-screen puzzles.
