    i&#39;m not sure if i feel proud that, in my capstone project interview, my advisor was so surprised that i used no AI whatsoever in my project that the interview ended early. she said, &quot;all of the questions i would normally have ask students to explain AI-generated code so we can determine whether they understand it.&quot; i mean... am i proud of myself? or existentially depressed about that whole statement? anyway, i passed. certificate incoming.

    fantastic. i rearranged my desk. in moving my #laptop dock and monitors, apparently, something ... changed, somehow? #Linux no longer seems to detect external monitors connected via dock (2 DP, 1 HDMI). which... what? keyboard and ethernet connected to this same dock are working just fine, as are external speakers. it is literally THE SAME. same laptop, same cables, same monitors, same dock. did the local dark matter or magnetic field or something change? tachyons detected? #amdgpu FWIW

    i never watched Voyager when it first aired, for essentially forgotten reasons. i think we had UPN briefly and then did not? i&amp;#39;ve not watched any Trek newer than Voyager. Enterprise never appealed. and i don&amp;#39;t have (or want) a Paramount+ subscription. anyway, what i came to say is that i would probably have much more appreciated the absolute rampant horniness of Voyager when it first aired. 😂 i started high school the same year the series began.

    i have to travel for work again tomorrow. i am driving. i am not-so-secretly hoping at least one of the three corporate overlords flying out of ATL get held up because of {gestures broadly} take your pick: * TSA lack of staffing (i also do not work if i don&amp;#39;t get paid, no shade), * ICE (fuick ICE, all shade), * generally short-staffing (shade to airlines, no shade to workers), * typical pre-torment-nexus airline stuff. because i enjoy schadenfreude, and i fucking told you so.
