  I don't get my classmates who never comment their code. I love being silly in comments while meticulously documenting everything that's complicated. It's basically the notes I use while coding, and will help me when I revisit code later, especially when I start asking "why did I do this like this?" before promptly breaking something.

  it's kinda funny how I only started using types in Python (e.g. mystr: str | None = "") so that GitHub Copilot (in beta back then) could understand my code better I suppose that's one good thing that came out of that time

  I swear if AI was actually ethical, and used for the right things, I would've been one of the biggest AI nerds in fedi. Linguistics and computers, in a single field? I would've looooved it. Hell, learning about the tech behind AI (simple markov chains, the basics of how voice recognition works with formants and stuff) is already super cool.
