Sometimes some people are so surface-level nice that I'm thinking, hey, we're friends. Couldn't we talk more familiarly and be slightly more open now?

I think this particular person might be ND, but I really am hoping they might open up a bit more. I'd like to know them better because I think that we vibe pretty well and they're pretty cool.
