Days like today are why I start drawing #Inktober early. I’ve literally been sketching all day long for clients. The thought of drawing more tonight to complete today’s prompt makes me nauseous. Thankfully I don’t have to worry about that because I’m 8 days ahead and have enough in the tank to take tonight off without stress. It makes the difference between having fun and stressing out in October.

RE: https://universeodon.com/@jaykuo/117389546018055990 Why would he want out if the Dems take control of the Senate if their job is just calling balls and strikes? I mean it’s not like they have a political bias, right? Oh. Oh.

Just when I think people might have it going on stuff like this crops up and I lose all hope. WHY?!

Well that’s some good news! #Yankees lost the first game of the ALDS to the Rays, thanks in part to the amazingly poor base running of Austin Wells. Wow, just… wow. https://youtube.com/shorts/yTdjyqSp3uk

One of those #Inktobers where I know what I wanna draw but I don’t know HOW to depict it properly. These are always the toughest but sometimes they come out being my favorite ones. Hmmmm 🤔

RE: https://beige.party/@Wogue/117377206711625299 I really feel this may be the death note for progressive movements. The unwillingness to vote for someone just because they don’t support the individual thing that’s most important to you, but are the far better choice on the whole is what did us in with Trump and may do us in again.

Man, that was expensive. I’d grocery shop at Costco more but buying in bulk for just two people doesn’t really work out well. 😓 #thxobama

Waking up to Tapestry 2.1 TestFlight for Mac still not through review. It’s pretty much impossible to test an app that Apple, for some reason, won’t allow us to test. With Tapestry it’s worse because the iOS and Mac versions rely on each other and we can’t send the app to testers until both are approved. Something definitely feels wrong with app review these days. This shoulda taken a few hours, not a week. 😡

RE: https://mstdn.social/@fp/117367238401006850 I really loved Florian’s Inktober last year. Looks like this year will be just as great. Gotta love pixel pushing. 🥰

“The ads, which have aired on primetime television and include disclaimers saying they were “paid for by the U.S. government,” were also created in-house by the White House’s own video team, raising the prospect that the government employees who worked on them may have broken the law.” Lock them all up! So tired of no accountability.

Star Trek TNG premiered on this day, September 28th, 1987 with the first episode titled “Encounter at Farpoint.” I remember how excited I was for the premiere. It was soooo different from original Trek I loved every minute of it. Hearing the words “Where no *one* has gone before” in the opening credits instead of “No man…” and the scene with Data escorting McCoy gave me goosebumps.🖖 #StarTrek

Dunno if you saw the state-run, government-paid-for ads Trump aired during yesterday’s football games, I sure did. Fans are pretty livid over it and rightfully so but every time one would come on I would just chuckle. The best thing he can do right before the midterms is incite voters who hate him to hate him even more during one of their favorite weekend pastimes. Keep it up, Donnie!

Well, the regular season for the Boston #RedSox came to an end. What a crazy, wild ride this season has been. It was so much fun watching them go on that month long winning streak back in July. Even if they don’t do well in the playoffs, I still completely enjoyed it. Pretty good considering how poorly they started out. Onwards and hopefully upwards. 👍⚾️🧢
