    I have one dual-socket USB charger, two USB-C cables, and two phones. if I connect cable 1 to phone 1 and cable 2 to phone 2, only phone 1 charges. but if I connect cable 1 to phone 2, cable 2 to phone 1, both phones charge.

    I wonder if anyone has examined code reviewer performance with regard to perceived AI usage. like if you stick &quot;co-authored by chat-gpt/claude&quot; and some em-dashes in a merge request, do code reviewers miss more bugs because they&#39;re not reading as closely? or do they become more picky, complaining about things they wouldn&#39;t otherwise?

    what the fuck windows midway through a call, my bluetooth microphone stops sending sound, so I give up and switch to a pair of headphones with a builtin mic and they won&#39;t work so I reboot and they don&#39;t work, so I make windows forget, and re-pair them now they pair, but they don&#39;t show up as an output or an input but they are connected just not as an audio output or input

    wow xfinity&#39;s site is terrible. I&#39;m trying to convince it to let me cancel my TV plan but keep my internet. I got through two chatbots and it gives me the option to schedule a callback. I hit that button and it says there&#39;s an error, and suggest I go look at support. like, support for their website? not working?

    I love when banks require you to do extra security/2fa on specific actions (like sending money), but they&#39;re the same 2fa you have to do to log in. so I enter my username/password, it sends an SMS to my phone, I enter the code, I click into &quot;send money&quot;, select my landlord, type in the amount, click send, and it sends a code to my phone, I type it in again. the two texts came in 30 seconds apart. why are you re-authorizing me less than a minute later?

    look there&#39;s a billion other reasons why people are against AI and all but fundamentally the core of my person reason is that I&#39;ve already spent 30 years learning how to teach computers how to do exactly what I tell them to, so I am exceptionally disinterested in having them do things less accurately by talking to them in a sloppier language
