  I know a lot of women of various ages who are on dating apps. Please take it from me, there are some photos most women just absolutely don’t want to see: 1) You holding dead fish. Wtf man 2) You posing with strippers / topless models 3) Your wedding photo from 25 years ago with your (former?) spouses face scribbled out A dodgy selfie is preferable to any of the above. I’d be intrigued to hear what the wtf photos women post on the apps are.

  I am not a fan of R U Ok day, mostly because in most companies it’s performative with nothing behind it. It also brings up the bad memories of my darling nephew who took his own life a few years ago at a young age. Mental health is another thing that we as a society choose not to prioritise. It shouldn’t be up to charities to provide support services, it should be the government but we, as a society, don’t seem to care enough to force them to do it : (

  My mid level health insurance is now $43 a week or just over $2,230 a year. It goes up every year with zero improvement to what I am offered or the service. I’m really starting to question whether I want to work for two week a year to pay health insurance on top of the Medicare levy I pay

  Fedizens…..I know how much we like a poll here. I have 23 days between when one accomodation ends and my €100 a week accommodation starts. I can extend that one at the other end but cannot start it earlier. I think the best solution is to have a funky adventure in a non shengen zone, cheaper country as Portugal at that time is super expensive and house sitting very few and far between. Where should I go and why? These are the cheapest and cheapest to get to / get in to that seem interesting. Lov...

  I truly believe people in the US (and around the world) have one superpower and they need to use it now. Stop spending money on anything you don’t absolutely need to buy and on US services more broadly. It’s literally the only thing that will FORCE republicans to act. I’m going through everything I have left of US services / subscriptions this weekend and cancelling them. Logically, some things are going to take longer to transfer or cancel but if enough people at least start, momentum will...
