Well, this is disturbing from a labour rights perspective.
Mandating binding arbitration before a strike kind of intrinsically means there will be no ability to strike. The arbitrated solution is, after all, binding, meaning both sides must abide by it.
How do you strike if you MUST abide with an arbitrated settlement?

@evdelen@mstdn.ca F*in' ridiculous. Sometimes, labour rights can only be gained or retained by breaking the law. Doing what they won't let you do--but *together*--is how labour rights happened in the first place. ✊
