How even do they expect this change to make drive-thru gas stations possible? They are already as drive-thru as they can be and the opening to fill the tank is already on the side of the car.
Instead, what we ought to do is have massive refuelling tankers just cruising around and we put the fueling port on the front so we can refuel mid-drive like a fighter jet.

I was driving south of Frankfurt in Germany a few years ago and the freeway has pantographs so the electric trucks can charge on the fly. When will dino-burners get the same treatment? :-D
