  At least in the US, this is pretty ridiculous. We have more murder tools (AKA guns) than people. And considering the majority of them are loaded and unsecured, we obviously don't care about safety and more guns isn't something we seem to mind so...   Why shouldn't we use biometrics for security? Because you can't change them once they are compromised. It breaks so many rules for security it isn't funny. Why are companies/government pushing for this? It is not about security, it is about tracking.
