@QasimRashid@mastodon.social Given the article @Steve_Holcombe@mastodon.social provided, it would appear that (a) they argued/talked about something, (b) the "white MAGA man" had consumed 500 ml of wine, but claimed it was not a factor while police could smell alcohol on his breath after the shooting, and (c) he claimed the gun went off by accident. So, one question I would add is why do we allow people to have guns without any sort of testing/licensing to show that they can handle them competently - like we do with cars.

While the fact that they apparently argued about Trump before the gun was fired, it's far from clear that the argument was the reason the gun was fired. It seems awfully premature to say much of anything about what actually happened.

    @bzdev@fosstodon.org @QasimRashid@mastodon.social There aren't that many states that require no testing or licensing at all to buy a gun, only being of adult age.
