@pypi@fosstodon.org Phishing has gotten so bad that I ignored a text message from my insurance company - it wanted me to click on a link that looked kind of funny. Later, I got an email with a legitimate link (shown in text-only mode), so I used that. What should have been a trivial request took me close to an hour to handle because of problems with docusigns brain-dead UI.

@georgetakei@universeodon.com If the account attributed to Emily Heller is accurate, what could have happened is that some officers told her to move, some ICE officers/agents wanted her to stop, and the officers/agents didn't communicated with each other. Should some ICE managers face charges for criminal negligence for sending inadequately trained armed agents out in public? Let's look into that too.

@Em0nM4stodon It depends on what type of AI and what you use it for. I'm using an AI program, a grammar checker named language tool, but while a talk claims it uses a neural net, others stated the free version is just an expert system. It runs as a server, so I wrote some code to feed it text while tracking line numbers and pruning out equations and coding examples. What it spits back is then turned into compiler-like error messages and I made the corrections manually.

@molly0xfff To put a doubling of the odds in perspective, one might note that multiplying 0 by 2 still gives you 0. A friend once sent me a fake blackmail letter as a joke, so I sent a reply saying he could have all my Porsches and Mercedes if he would just please, please burn all the negatives.
