@LorenzoAncora@ieji.de Also it was a server-side compromise. So updating doesn't actually do anything in this case - except for adding some more safeguards for the future. But if you were the target then you've to completely reinstall all of your systems on your network. And if you weren't then updating is also not really necessary for you either. @agowa338@chaos.social no, all users are valuable targets, "Cobal Strike" can be used to create a botnet and the attackers always have interest in controlling as many computers as possible, which can then be used at a later time as proxies or VPNs to perform network attacks or distribute harmful or illegal content.
