If "AI" is so dangerous as the bosses of Big AI are telling us, the solution is very simple. Make AI illegal, establish a global moratorium and stop all plans for "AI" datacenters while dismantling the ones that already exist. But I somehow have a gut feeling that is not what is going to happen ;)

We have precedent for global treaties against harmful technology. Wouldn't it be a nice twist to take the statements of (US) Big AI very serious in a bigly way and establish the "Artificial Intelligence Convention" modelled after the Biological Weapons Convention [1]? 2/3 [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biological_Weapons_Convention
