We have precedent for global treaties against harmful technology. Wouldn't it be a nice twist to take the statements of (US) Big AI very serious in a bigly way and establish the "Artificial Intelligence Convention" modelled after the Biological Weapons Convention [1]?

I am very aware of the real goal behind all those doomsday scenarios from Big AI. It's the Disney principle: "Don't allow anyone else to do what we did to the Brothers Grimm to make sure we are the only one making money that way". I also know that a global agreement against "AI" is just as ridiculous as what Big AI is telling us. But I like the "what if" way of thinking :) 3/3
