  Don't want to make my prickly introvert friends feel alienated by this take, I don't think you have to be universally appealing and easy to get along with at the expense of your peace and your morals. But like, even prickly introverts are doing better at maintaining good friendships in Seattle than the hateful wet blankets who need to move back to Ohio if they like it so much.
