  Today actually is #BisexualVisibilityDay, I've been identifying as Bi since I found out that was an option by reading books on sexuality in jr high. It seems very simple to me, but it's been interesting living my life with this label that has so much baggage, stigma, and history attached to it. None of which I knew when I picked it up, but I don't want to reject any of it, all bisexuals in history are my comrades and I refuse to reject them.

  I feel like people who have a bad time with Seattle locals open up all their conversations with how much they hate it here, and then when people treat that as rude, they double down on how mean everyone always is.   Today's discussion topic at the aquarium is "how do we exit the conversation?" If a kid or a tourist wants to wring every last fact out of my brain, I am not going to exit that conversation untill they've gotten everything they can from me.   Explaining to a new volunteer at the aquarium that one of the perks is handing out praise and positive feedback for good behavior to adults and children.   Went to a Lulu party with my wife in Tacoma last night, had fun talking and hanging out outside by the fire pit. I kept trying to bank the fire and let it die down as the party was winding up, but the one guy who was really into burning stuff kept building it back up and adding more stuff. I think I kept him from burning two old adorandak chairs, but I was not quick enough to keep him away from a bunch of nicely milled lumber that seemed to be about to become a raised garden bed. Oh well!
