it should be legally required for websites to have a one-button account deletion or opt-out process, just as it should be legally required for websites to have a one-button subscription cancellation process

it should also be required (legally or otherwise) for services to not go public until an account deletion or opt-out process is figured out, cuz that's a basic privacy issue waiting to happen
