Fediverse is Continuing, Growing, and Strong
It seems the fediverse is continuing and growing again.
https://fediverse.observer/stats&months=50
Total users are huge now.
There are many websites out there that pull data from the fediverse. So take that with a grain of salt. But anecdotally I am seeing a small rise in people using the various platforms as each get more mature and servers somewhat stabilize.

There’s some caveats to the rise. There’s likely spam waves hitting pixelfed (~300k), 2 months ago a spam wave hit writefreely (~170k), and possibly Bookwrym currently (~4k). A weekly post breaking it down by software: https://threadiverse.link/piefed.zip/c/fedilytics@piefed.zip/p/1838661/growth-of-the-fediverse-20260920

Hopefully some of the growth is real, though per @Vicinus@piefed.zip here, Pixelfed and Writefreely may be encountering MAU-inflating spam waves.
