Hopefully some of the growth is real, though per @Vicinus@piefed.zip here, Pixelfed and Writefreely may be encountering MAU-inflating spam waves.

Haha. Guess we both replied basically the same thing to the post. Does look like +50k real growth over the last month. With the caveat that that is only counting the software I track, so could be greater.
