@Kierkegaanks@beige.party I, for one, surmise that what usually happens is that a committee of uncreative people with dollar signs in their eyes browbeat the creative staff into abandoning all the things that make a show noteworthy, original, and compelling in favor of what the marketers think will allow the show to continue to "sell". Self-defeating, but self-importance never seems to allow them to appreciate that fact.
