So, I need to send alerts from UNIX systems (Linux, BSD, whatever), to my mobile devices.
I am certain there are many ways to do this. Does anyone have a way that doesn't completely suck? A way that they actually like?
ie: requirement one, something I can self host?

@nuintari@mastodon.bsd.cafe I used to do this by just emailing to the phone number at my provider. It was simple and worked reasonably well. No idea if they still offer that service, though.
