Seriously there has been maybe 3-4 posts about GTA 6 on this community in the last 2 months and every single one of them is full of people whining that they don’t want to hear about it. It’s so overblown. GTA 6 is one of - if not the - highest budget games ever made. In one of the most popular and successful franchises of all time. It’s the biggest release of the last few years whether they like it or not. Now… You’re telling me we should stop talking about it in gaming communities because Lemmy users want to get back to talking about Linux and whatever 6/10 open source game is doing the rounds? Sorry for the harshness but these posts and comments are so annoying. If you don’t want to talk about AAA games then why are you in the gaming community? P.S. I’ve seen posts talking about GTA or any major company (PlayStation, Nintendo, Bethesda, etc) just get huge amounts of downvotes on this platform because “we’re tired of hearing about it”. Why do people do this??? Just move on to the next post.
