@preinheimer@phpc.social Damn, but that's shitty. "Just raise the money!" say the folks in the wealthy neighborhood. "What money?" say the folks whose kids no longer have a playground at school.

@mwop@phpc.social It took our new principal's last school 12 years to raise funds for a playground. I don't have a good handle on how funds are stored, but in the current inflationary era, the finish line also just keeps moving further away.
