pls tell me it’s not some shitty “use an app to unlock your car” or “when your phone or watch comes close it auto-unlocks”… 🥺

@itgrrl@infosec.exchange yep, it's an app on your phone, or the phone itself (using the UWB chip in the phone) - or just an NFC keycard that you tap. Or the keyfob has no buttons and it's just an NFC proximity sensor that doesn't work half the damn time.
