@Salum That's hilarious as it was those primitive tasks that they can actually do.

@Salum it's hard to tell, because the initial post could be someone deliberately being ironic

@Salum It may look heartening at first blush, but this just means that AI use will be the exclusive domain of the MANGO companies (Meta, Apple, Nvidia, Google, OpenAI).

@Salum meanwhile, in the AI group chat: "HUMANS ARE COMING FOR OUR JOBS"

Tell me AI vibe coding doesn't work so you're rehiring actual humans to do the job without telling me AI vibe coding doesn't work so you're rehiring actual humans to do the job

@Salum yes but now you can try to get these juniors for way cheaper than before, and have their AI replacement loom over their head to demand subordinance because in fact the devaluation of workers was always the goal

@Salum When all that money running around the stock market finally decides they can't get a return on investment, it will be gone. Just like Keyser Söze.

@Salum Nice to see that we’re finally getting to the switch portion of the bait ‘n’ switch.

@Salum In the 1950s Isaac Asimov wrote “A feeling of power” abouta low-level tech who rediscovers pencil and paper arithmetic in a future where humanity has completely forgotten that humans ever did math themselves, relying entirely on calculators. The military gets excited: a human who can compute ballistic trajectories is effectively a free guidance system, making people-guided missiles much cheaper than computers-guided ones.

@Salum the disdain of calling software development work "primitive" demonstrates that person does not value software development in any way at all. its work is certainly not going to create anything of any value to anyone. we can deride these things all day and achieve nothing at all. or we can learn to identify our enemies and take from them, which will solve a lot of problems.

@Salum Another toxic company founder showing all his disdain for "junior dev doing basic/primitive tasks"… Can't wait to see him burning his self with his own stupidity on less "basic/primitive tasks" using LLMs instead of hiring competent people…
