#OCanada! 🇨🇦 I'm trying to spend money in your fine country and your banks won't exchange $100 US for Canadian currency unless I have an account. I'm all out of Canadian cash so now I'm going to have to charge everything. Who benefits? (The answer: no one.) #RoadTrip

@mlanger@mastodon.world some cities have currency conversion businesses, I guess those would benefit? If it's a $100 bill that they're specifically refusing, then that might be for counterfeiting reasons. That and the counterfeit $20 have been a huge problem for years.
