"when you pay tax, you're not funding anything - you're protecting the value of the other money you have" -- "you" and others with a lot more, that is.

@wavesculptor@climatejustice.social It is of course just the uncontroversial - factual - bit of MMT - it doesn't go into the more contentious policy implications (such as the government's ability/duty to create full employment).
