Your (sometimes) Friendly Fediverse Cat I talk about # running # cycling # cats # fitness # film (including # monsterdon on Sundays!) I try to use hashtags on my toots so if you are not interested in one of the subjects you can easily filter it out for your own convenience. I will like all your cat, food and tech meme posts but will unfollow if you post politics and generally upsetting news without a cw or hashtag.

The mstdn.ca drama has to be the spiciest (and actually one of the most serious) fedi drama I have ever witnessed since I came here
The moderator of the instance is being sued for stealing 280k from a local Edmonton community league
Many users of mstdn.ca have complained of technical instability etc but this is not that, it’s a serious lawsuit that made it to CBC
Update: I have no affiliation with the instance/person and I’m just poiting out a CBC article. I would like to request that comments remain polite, no name calling, etc.
