#NetBSD thing that caused me much confusion: The default GCC in /usr/bin/gcc does not come with gfortran. There is no obvious way to install a FORTRAN compiler from pkgin. The GCC installed from pkgin has gfortran, but requires adding its directory (e.g. /usr/pkg/gcc12/bin) to PATH, it's not in the PATH by default. Got a working FORTRAN compiler now, but maybe this should be better documented? Or did I just not read the correct documentation?

@lexfeathers@tenforward.social "Big Tech doesn't care if you want AI or not. They should.", written by the same company who added "AI" overview to their search without asking us... I wonder what they'll do with the results, whether it'll make them reconsider it or not
