#NetBSD thing that caused me much confusion: The default GCC in /usr/bin/gcc does not come with gfortran. There is no obvious way to install a FORTRAN compiler from pkgin. The GCC installed from pkgin has gfortran, but requires adding its directory (e.g. /usr/pkg/gcc12/bin) to PATH, it's not in the PATH by default. Got a working FORTRAN compiler now, but maybe this should be better documented? Or did I just not read the correct documentation?

@vaporeon_@glaceon.social @netbsd@mastodon.sdf.org can help you getting it setup. There's probably tech reason why it is not included by default
