I've been watching the SSB/CW mods for the Quansheng HT with interest for a while and been sorely tempted. The most recent QRP Quarterly have an article by Bob Witte, K0NR on the UV-K5. Now even more tempted but how dirty are these things on an specan? Anyone looked? #Hamradio #AmateurRadio #QRP #Quansheng

Unlike ham radio, for which similar hopes were held, no special skills are needed to "surf the Net."" "Propaganda and the ethics of Persuasion" *Randal Marlin* Well. I didn't expect that. #AmateurRadi...

A petition to bring back the VHF weather service. Despite modern Internet + cellphone there are still many areas that do not have good cell phone service. VHF radio easily covers this gap. https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-7290 #Canada #AmateurRadio #Weather
