  I failed the #LDS #mormon #Church. I ran away as a teenager because I was afraid of serving a #mission.   When #princess #Adora was growing up in the #EvilHorde did she ever wonder why she was the only one of #Hordak's minions who wasn't half-cat or half-scorpion or a creepy witch or a giant spider with pop-out eyes or a snakeman or some other kind of disfigured #mutant?   In a #fantasy world where sleep and hold person spells are cheap and plentiful, and soul crystals could imprison repeat offenders indefinitely with no taxpayer expense, why is #capitalpunishment the first go-to for any fantasy kingdom?   Why did the #Catholic #Church only do the #Mass in #Latin until 1962? It was a language few people spoke except the very educated. The Church didn't even allow vernacular translations of the #Bible until the #Reformation forced their hand.   Perhaps the reason why it took 4,000 years from Adam's fall to the birth of #Jesus #Christ is because it took that long for a person who was sinless enough to survive carrying to term and giving birth to #God .
