  Morning. I feel like I’m awake early but I was actually asleep by 9.15 so I’ve had 8.5 hours’ solid sleep. Nervous about today, first new hairdresser to contend with, then meeting with people from the university about pausing my PhD. Tom says he thinks they’ll be guided by whatever I suggest in terms of time away but I’m not sure how long to ask for.
