  Doing my first vtuber avatar for a friend. Long way to go yet but I'm feeling SO good about the edge flow in the low poly face. He subdivides so nice! Will be a real joy to texture and animate. TIP: I've been finding it super worthwhile to create some throw away materials that are just basic colors and assign faces to them when I get areas with good flow. Makes it way easier to do the next part and spot poles.

  Had to get out the big bowl! Picked nearly a gallon of elderberries yesterday. There were still a lot more. Always feels rewarding to have to get out the big pot. Now to make jam, and possibly elderberry mead. Gotta use them quick! Elderberries are frustrating in that you can't snack on them while picking and prepping them.

  No sooner than I'd finished making elderberry syrup, a neighbor posted that they had a ton of fresh off the tree quince first come first serve. All in all, today I made 4.5 pints of elderberry syrup, 5.25 pints of quince butter, and 2 pints of quince sauce with another few pounds of quince left to decide what to do with tomorrow.

  If you mean luffa sponges, they're actually an edible gourd when younger. You can bury your shame in a nice curry. Look for something with 'ridge gourd', 'chinese okra', 'turai', 'nenori', or 'gilki' The name varies a lot as it's consumed in much of the world.

  @sashag@anarres.family It would be a shame as the GOP would use it to end Right to Repair your own home. Not like the evil monsters haven't criminalized bottles of drinking water already. Did you know they can arrest you for a 'drug paraphernalia' or 'aiding illegal immigrants' in some of the redhole states for having and/or distributing WATER. What'd be REALLY great if people would be proactive rather than reactive and paid attention before things got this bad.

  Got a vicious cold a couple weeks ago and it really delayed my art project for Unscruz. As of today, I'm finally back on track and within a couple hours of being done. Here's test assembly of 2 of the 7 stalks and 7 of the 27 flowers. They are made entirely of trash. Empty plastic bottles, PVC pipe from a busted coldframe, ends of polycarbonate from an awning, ends of LED strips from old projects, even the CPU is from junk parts and the wire was left by the power company.
