Cant get over there being drought and about ten active wildfires in wales, all those millenia ago when I was college age and stuck there for two years it rained on me every day. literally.

There wont be any photos for a couple of days. been too hot for too long, cfs mcas and heat is too much. i try to do a little every day, but now i must rest while its marginally cooler. Still got a big back catalogue on here, if you hit the media tab, and if you want, just look through some and tell me your favourites. its not so much a case uf needing feedback, but on limited energy, im happy with a hint on what youd like to see more of.

Welp, We've had our national emergency broadcast alert about not having a bbq through the electric telephone. I do hope corporate execs received one about not starting a datacentre or expecting shareholder compensation when the licence on their water company expires ,or prosecuting arsonists hired by equity firms and property developers, or how about no more north sea drilling or sending arms to genocidal states that blow up entire oil fields. Or power companies about not taking the piss...

Kinda been supporting the sheep that aren't mine on the sly during the drought, and now one is trying to be my friend. I'd be a useless sheep farmer, not on the sheep condition front, as an ex animal rescuer my sheep would be glorious, its a fairly remedial task compared to getting iguana to 20 years old, and weirdly over the years for someone who specialised in wildlife and exotics, the sheep, cow, horse and goat experience has stacked up, but I couldn't eat that one.I...

Tim Curry died yesterday too, didn't find out till today. Been on the cards a whille, i know, but still sad. I'm sure on mastodon i wasn't the only person he meant a lot to. An admirable fearlessness. From Rocky, to Legend, to Clue, to Congo, to the Hunt for red october and much more besides, he brought the fun, a clown to be feared, and the finest possible Darkness I'm sure mother night will fold her dark arms about him, and protect him ๐Ÿ˜˜

Its a thundery day, I'm utterly miserable, i might throw a toilet roll at the screen for old times sake.

  • View post

Thundery with showers in the cotswolds, heard one bolt of lightning close. Rainfall here has been terribly low while others got rain, not really more than two hours normal rain in over 100 days, so this is surprisingly welcome. Theres a lot of energy up there. #UKweather.

Peter Cullen, the legendary voice actor and heart and soul of Optimus Prime has died. Frankly, this is an appaling week for losing our childhood favourites. He died Wednesday. The death announcements at this point are being staggered so nobody gets overshadowed. in a few weeks, That's Hayden, Dolly, Tim, and Peter. its easy for voice actors to be underappreciated, but let us make no bones about it., for millions of us Peters voice on Optimus Prime's lips was a safe and aspiran...

Well, that's got to be the most solidly hot day in britain since it was possible for it to be referred to geologically as britain, and the dragonflies could chew your head off. Thats looking like its going over twelve hours at over 30c, peak of 34c,

So are we all ready for COVID variant BA3.2? Because that fucker is getting around vaccines. Mask restock. More hand gel, more distance. Here we fucking go again. ๐Ÿ™„ #covid

Well, if it's long COVID awareness day, I'll add my ten cents. I was one of the first to contract it in the UK, and have had it as long as anyone, since 2019. Reclusive even then, I was lured out to help a relative who was essentially dying with a heart condition, when his visiting grandson who's father has been working in Saudi passed it to me, and frankly finished him off. #Longcovid
