  @0xabad1dea@infosec.exchange Reminds me that I sometimes wonder who created this idea that we should encrypt everything, because as more and more time passes it more feels like a way to make people feel safer than they are, and weaken protocols. If not entirely make things actually unsafe for people if it ends up with verifiable signatures which can't end up plausibly deniable (one reason why I have rotation on my dkim keys).

  @whynothugo Worst is like Wero isn't even just Dutch banks, it's european… but well I guess they already got trapped into that dependency with the online payment requirements where more and more of them end up requiring a bank app. One thing I hope is getting an inter-card payment network that's EU-wide (A bit like how France got https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CB_Bank_Card_Group ), instead of mucking around with smartphones.

  That reminds me, today got annoyed at lack of well… SatNav (smartphone/PDA stuff) or more like annoyed that when you exit Brussels metro you don't get general directions at the exit, but maybe I should buy a compass or something given how low-tech I end up being. (That said so far there seems to be better street name labeling than what I'm used to)
