    @Isofruit@mastodon.social fair enough. I just still do not understand the Gnome Devs thinking. Most human beings from time to time have bi-weekly or fortnightly appointments to put on the calendar. But Gnome suggests that I just connect it to a Google account to make it work, but that&#39;s a non starter. I would be more angry about this if I were in Europe or somewhere not the USA, where you cannot trust any of our technology. Google is fascist, and Gnome sure doesn&#39;t mind messing around...

I just figured out how to force Ubuntu 26.04 to disable every single damn animation in the system, and that&amp;#39;s by INSTALLING LINUX MINT.     FYI: If you’re sharing important news here, can you please try to not just post a BlueSky link? My iPad is old, for example, at least the one I’m on now. But no browser can access BlueSky, maybe either due to my using iCloud private relay, or the site refusing connections from older browsers, but this is a mistake, and bad for public accessibility of important news.
