@Isofruit@mastodon.social fair enough. I just still do not understand the Gnome Devs thinking. Most human beings from time to time have bi-weekly or fortnightly appointments to put on the calendar. But Gnome suggests that I just connect it to a Google account to make it work, but that's a non starter. I would be more angry about this if I were in Europe or somewhere not the USA, where you cannot trust any of our technology. Google is fascist, and Gnome sure doesn't mind messing around with them.

You can see a ticket for this feature here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-calendar/-/work_items/272. Calendar doesn't have anyone working on it full-time.
