Good luck today, @sebastianhahn@mastodon.world. Not that you will need luck. You have done it all to prepare. If anyone ought to be ready, it is you. Enjoy it, then. Have a blast!

Just chillin' after the accidental marathon on Saturday. Or ... that was the plan. So while kiddo did her atlethics training, I did some easy laps on the tracks. But of course I could not contain myself, and so I threw in 4x200m hard sprints (a 9 effort out of 10) toward the end. It made it hard, but also very rewarding. And it mixed things up. Distance: 7.61k Pace: 5'23" Havdrup Familieløb (10k) in 5 days. #running #MastoRunDK #EveryRunHasAPurpose

#OneGoodThing today: we welcomed two new chickens to our household. They are called Omeletta and Voldegork. The three old chickens are not (yet) amused with the newcomers, but they'll come around soon enough and settle the hierarchy. #EnGodTing

I signed up for the Paris Marathon on April 12, 2026. It will be my fifth marathon, the first one outside of Scandinavia. This is one of the races I have long wanted to do, and racing it means crossing an item off my bucket list. My goal is threefold: - to enjoy the race, - to finish it, and - to break 4h 7m (my PR is 4:14:31). This is what I train for now. Here we go. #ParisMarathon in T minus 170 days.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@michammel/116563485592876501 A crazy (though hardly surprising) discovery of how #Meta services give full access to nude pictures - when you do a project about cars passing cyclists. Looks like blatant #privacy violations. wtf The thread is in Danish, so you may need to run it through translation.

Your mileage may vary - but I find this album from Nine Inch Nails/Boys Noize ("Nine Inch Noize") utterly fascinating. The fact that they recorded bits and pieces here and there, then threw (and recorded) a spectacular show at Coachella, and then wrapped production all up to release the fully polished album *only one week later* is crazy. As we head into the weekend, it’s time for the #RunnersOfMastodon to throw some support at @folfdk and @obrien_kat. On Sunday, one races Frost Cup in Lyngby, the other Tokyo Marathon, and both have put in the work to get to the starting lines and chase some personal goals. You’ve got this. Remember to enjoy it. We who are also about to run salute you!
