I am what is termed a "complex patient" on account of a few medical issues. If I didn't talk about it, you'd get a pretty skewed idea of my life. I had a rubbish night, but in a different way to usual. Something about possibly being asleep but being acutely aware of time dragging. And dreaming that I smelled like I hadn't showered in a week but had to be around people. Plus the usual stuff about not being able to find a toilet, so at least there was that to hold on to.

Don't know if it's my sight that's taking a nosedive or my brain, but I just read "Exploring Paris!" as "Exploring Pants!"

Today's braincare session will be the first session since my autism diagnosis. It's no surprise (she already reckoned I was, but this was a diagnosis via all those stupid tests). Next step: ADHD. By the time I wanted that official diagnosis I had figured I was autistic, but when I look back at how I have perceived myself and others over the years, it was in fact quite a long walk.

And right now (in fact since the really quite minor but very annoying thumb surgery) I am suffering from severe lethargy, which isn't MECFS. Maybe it's a lingering minor virus, but it really feels like a mood.

@esther@strangeobject.space Oh I dunno. I know one who's extremely into not-e, because of a preference for the mechanical, who's helping me work out what sort of e-ness I'll need to get my crippled self onto wheels.

@emilygorcenski @NotYourStrayDog IIRC, the death toll was excepionally high. Yet I knew someone who went to Vegas a couple of weeks later and came back saying it was like nothing had happened.

Mind you, I do also remember being told to pipe down a bit about chronic illness and disability. That was choice.

I think my mood will lift when I can get my hands in the dirt again.

@ahimsa_pdx@disabled.social Oh hell yes! I prefer not to know what the neighbours think of me these days, for precisely this reason.
