@EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu I smell loopholes galore. Like selling to a garbage company outside the EU, so the EU does nothing & the EU based business / company in question does not get prosecuted for the crimes being perpetrated abroad thanks to their products being dumped abroad. The very crimes this post seems to think this law will stop. The main problem is expecting businesses to be 100% honest in their self reporting on what is genuinely sold for redistribution & wha...

@amiserabilist@beige.party I'm just glad my mum passed before this discriminatory & frankly, what should be illegal BS. Back in the early 80s a very young me ended up with two biological Mum's, (one I call Mam as they are Dutch & the other Mum as they are English.) Other than initial teething problems which were quickly resolved (without stress for my part) on my first visit to see them after they started their transition was illegal to stay / be married if trans back then....

@Taweret@timeloop.cafe I don't build. I just come along to test things 🤷. So far … Evidence points to: Yes! More testing required to confirm & further testing after that to verify. 🤔 Or was it the other way round?

Conundrum: When the film you watch turns out to be close but no cigar, as it's not the film you were looking for. Anyone who knows what the title of the film I'm actually thinking of could really be a sanity saver. Watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter & it is not the movie I thought it was. Not in positive or negative but as in the film was somehow different from the one I'd seen before & thought was, The Last Voyage of the Demeter. A list of similarit...

@actuallyadhd @autistics Today my brain went something like: Ghhaaaaaarrggggghhhhh! ... 💡! I think a penny got stuck a long while back & finally worked itself loose & dropped. I started looking into & bullet journalling several years ago after my brief encounter with mental health services & the woman running the 6 session group therapy suggested it. Thanks to Pinterest I quick fell in love with the idea, though possibly for the wrong reasons as I have never be...

@actuallyadhd @autistics Ever had one of those days where, it's been so frelling long that you've forgotten what it's like to not be in burnout but you're also just mad at everything because there's no way out of burnout? No official diagnosis & your GP threw out the preliminary test that said you're a good candidate for autism that you got years ago. The waiting list is impossibly long so by the time you: 1) Pluck up the dice / spoons to...

Wouldn't it he wonderful, to wake up after a night's sleep & feel ready for the day, rather than waking up 2 hours after the alarm & feeling knackered & mentally fatigued from the get go? ... I shall keep dreaming of such a day.

Bad back day, formerly get on & do stuff day. Managed the washing up & made progress in reading of my current library loaner (The Thousand Earths by Stephen Baxter) & my own copy of A Hat Full of Sky by Terry Pratchett. If I forget about the back pain & stiffness, it's been a nice relaxing Sunday. I suspect tomorrow will be more of the same, though I hope I can do a bit more & feel a little productive. Hope everyone's had a more pain free...
