I'm just glad my mum passed before this discriminatory & frankly, what should be illegal BS.
Back in the early 80s a very young me ended up with two biological Mum's, (one I call Mam as they are Dutch & the other Mum as they are English.)
Other than initial teething problems which were quickly resolved (without stress for my part) on my first visit to see them after they started their transition was illegal to stay / be married if trans back then.
If a small kid can wrap their head around someone born as one sex but then transitioning to another what the frell is the government's excuse for not getting it?
What's their excuse for making discrimination legal when it clearly harms trans people & the people who acknowledge & care about them?

morning @Soldusty@beige.party and @MAJ1@beige.party snowing here again and i need to go to town. the problem is if reform get in. the right wing being who they are. also they want to privatize the nhs. there will always be bigots. our professional organizations are not fit for purpose or our management. i fear the same dark forces behind brexit and maga are behind reform. some powerful people want a noninclusive world. i am glad your family worked out.
