Was poking around in my following list, and nearly half of all the people I'm following haven't been active on Mastodon at all in 2026. Same goes for my followers, actually. That seems, uh... not great?

I wonder if the guy who waves an American flag all day every year on this day atop the 56th street overpass is going to be parked on the Eagle Creek Greenway once again this year? If so, surely IMPD will make him move because Indianapolis is very invested in the safety of Vulnerable Road Users after adopting Vision Zero, right? Uh huh I think we all know the answer to this. He’s probably already parked there, and IMPD will almost certainly look the other way exactly like they do every year. 🙃

That general Nintendo Direct was a nothing burger. A snooze fest. They could have dropped the majority of that randomly on Xitter without any fanfare. Yikes. #Nintendo #NintendoDirect

One of the "features" listed in the 1Password email about subscription pricing going up is "Al-powered item naming". Yeahhhhh, I'm really glad I left 1Password when they ditched their native Mac app for that Electron garbage. Now AI bullshit in their password manager, too. For "item naming" of all things. They just had to jump on the bandwagon. No Thank You. #1Password #Strongbox #Keepass
