I wonder if the guy who waves an American flag all day every year on this day atop the 56th street overpass is going to be parked on the Eagle Creek Greenway once again this year?
If so, surely IMPD will make him move because Indianapolis is very invested in the safety of Vulnerable Road Users after adopting Vision Zero, right?
Uh huh I think we all know the answer to this. He’s probably already parked there, and IMPD will almost certainly look the other way exactly like they do every year.

Yup, he's parked on the trail once again as expected. Reported to IMPD non-emergency dispatch. I brought this to the attention of our Vision Zero Administrator on Wednesday, to try to "get ahead" of it being a problem. To his credit he did pass the note along to IMPD Northwest... but, some good that seems to have done. 🙃
