  I have been invited to a birthday party of sorts, there is no real dress code but there is a viking theme and dressing accordingly is encouraged. I'd like to dress more or less formal, and along the viking/middle-age theme, of course. Any advice, ideas? I have a long brown (some say blonde) hair that I can't braid (skill issue). What hashtags should I use for this here in the federated world? Boosts welcome of course. :boost:

  I'm doing a more thorough cleaning of my apartment. I've decided to purge most of the cardboard boxes. I have already taken out one big armful of crushed cardboard. I have another one ready to go and I'm still finding more. HOW DO I STILL KEEP FINDING MORE?! I would've needed an intervention 10 years ago. Shame since most of them were damn good boxes.

  I am in a dire need of a self hosted audio network into my home. Chromecast worked beautifully 10 years ago, not that long after that youtube music stopped working but streaming device audio was a workaround. Now Google Home doesn't have speaker groups anymore. I am tired, boss.

  Many powrebanks have fancy displays but I have never seen one that tells you the charge/discharge speeds. I have USB-C power monitor thingies but only one of them can negotiate some PD protocols but it doesn't seem to do anything beyond 5V.

  Chilling outside for most of this weekend, at the cottage. I have seen many different wee creatures, many that I'm not sure if I've ever seen before. As in, insects that have landed on me. Sunscreen seems to attract those, with variety.

  Hear me out (or, maybe don't...): Minecraft server where the first two people to join can get in just fine but for any new player slots, the two current players must ... do the thing, and 9 "months" (or whatever makes sense in minecraft time) later, next one to connect gets the slot. For the server to get more players, people gotta fuck around. Idk, it could be a hardcore world, anyone who dies, loses access and can try again when a new slot opens?

  Huh, never thought this would happen. The finnish alcohol store, Alko, can now be open all day on Saturdays and limited times on Sundays. Previously they could be open fairly limitedly on Saturdays and never on Sunday/holidays. #Alko

  It is the year 2026, we're in the information and communication era. My corporate operates in the billions. My personal corporate account has 4,88GB space for email (after begging for more a while ago) and 5GB cloud storage which is 87% filled with stuff Ive shared via teams over the many years. My laptop stores the only copies for a lot of things. IT knows this, IT don't care.

  Thinking of some movie/show/whatever... Cupid shoots their arrows and so a couple gets together. The love doesn't last. Similarly like the grim reaper, the cupid comes to reclaim the arrows, ripping them out, leaving two broken hearts. Later on it would be shown how the wounds heal over time.
